A small wager

By Michael J. Smith on Thursday November 16, 2006 10:19 PM

So: who's willing to bet something valuable that there will be no US troops in Iraq come November '08?

I've got a bottle of Haut-Brion that says we'll still have American boots on that particular ground. Any takers?

I don't make sucker bets and I never drink anything that costs more than a months rent on my apartment.

i'll not take that bet
out of solidarity
with my poster in chief
if nothing else

but i will take any bet
that sez the two party top echelon
will still be in an open
and firece rangle
over this by then

Polosi flanked by Rahm and Steny. All I have is a bottle of Manichevitz and it says that the only horizon of redeployment is Iran.

You are clearly not a craps player.

You have to give odds for such bets.
