Poetic justic (almost)

By Michael J. Smith on Friday May 23, 2008 11:26 AM

Two Israeli fighter aircraft threatened to shoot down a private jet transporting Tony Blair after coming under the misapprehension that the aircraft was staging a potential terrorist attack.
With Tony Blair on board, the misapprehension was quite understandable. One can only regret that on this occasion the Israelis exhibited uncharacteristic restraint.

I was just reading the exact same article on the Guardian.

Do you think Sean McCormack from the US state department, would have then "described [Blair] as a 'cold-blooded killer, a mass murderer and a terrorist responsible for countless innocent lives lost. The world is a better place without this man in it. One way or another he was brought to justice.'"

Note also that comments with three or more links may be held for "moderation" -- a strange term to apply to the ghost in this blog's machine. Seems to be a hard-coded limitation of the blog software, unfortunately.
