Reminds me of the old Rolling Stone ad campaign – the perception, the reality. Of course, Rolling Stone was not being ironic in the least.
As for Ben’s Chili Bowl – watch them. If they’re serious and they hear people are taking it ironically, they’ll be shocked and take the signs down. Otherwise, they know exactly what they’re doing.
