I'm wondering now whether we should add another litmus test
to The Lefty's Pledge,
to wit:
"I won't vote for anyone who won't endorse re-regulating energy prices."Big Energy has both mitts on the mandarin elements of donkery, and they've had 'em there since Jimmy Carter de-regged his pal's natural gas pipeline prices (what was that guy's name?).
Nothing more bespeaks the heinous degrdation of donkery than a quick contrast of donk reaction to energy price gouging in '74 vs. '05.
