" The U.S. Coast Guard will escort the first ship coming to the EGT grain terminal at the Port of Longview this month, and the Occupy movement and local labor groups say they are planning to greet the vessel with a massive protest "

there is talk of caravans going north from the left coast occ locals
..and the formation of an occ flotilla

nice secondary contradiction
the scabs are from another union

will afl-xxx hq and war chief ferdinand the bull step in ??

so far not even mumbles out of the DC pie card hub ... just plain mum

I wonder: is it fair to say that US unions are so hamstrung by legal restrictions that a legal labor movement is guaranteed to be ineffectual? That was certainly the intent of the law. If the law has been successful... don't we need an illegal labor movement?

right exactly so

we need both legal and non legal organizing and organizations

Note also that comments with three or more links may be held for "moderation" -- a strange term to apply to the ghost in this blog's machine. Seems to be a hard-coded limitation of the blog software, unfortunately.
