The Senate Commerce Committee just gave its blessing to the broadcast flag for TV and radio, without a recorded vote -- a sure sign of profound bipartisan consensus. No wonder, of course, since the RIAA and the MPAA have plenty of money to
spread around.

Nice to see the democrats doing their part to maximize Time Warner / Viacom / Sony profit margins. Now if they can just get that whole 'net neutrality' thing out of the way...
