Kos triangulates -- tetrangulates -- hypercubulates?

By Michael J. Smith on Monday July 24, 2006 10:41 PM

Markos Moulitsas Zuniga proves himself a thinker worthy to reside on the shelves of Pantagruel's Library of St Victor, home of the chimaera bombinans in vacuo:
Some people are surprised that I said that out-of-staters won't tell the local who to vote for in CT (or anywhere else, for that matter). But if that's the case, then what are bloggers like me doing?

We're supporting the efforts of local activists. That's what we're doing. I have no influence whatsoever on who locals vote for. But I can help generate the activism and money that's necessary for Ned Lamont to make his case to the people of his state. See the distinction?

Well, no, Kos, I don't. Looks to me like you're hedging your bets.

Markos is into power, only he has managed to con people who don't realize that. That much is obvious from the way that he runs his site. The way those kosnicks act, nothing is done without his ok. Notice how he always mangages to slip in something to the effect of, "I'm just a blogger."? "Supporting the efforts of local activists." That's a good one. Why doesn't he just say financing? Whatever he's got up his sleeve won't fly. What comes around, goes around and bites back HARD!

KO$ knows perfectly well that Lamont's chances are vanishingly small, despite the internet hoopla, and I doubt very much that he really gives a damn who wins in CT. The hairsplitting above is patently absured except in light of his efforts to garner a sinecure from his democrat overlords.

KO$ needs to signal that he's just as unburdened by real convictions as his would-be masters in the democrat party. Thus, roughly translated, the above means: "I don't really believe in it, boss. I'm just selling it."

Note also that comments with three or more links may be held for "moderation" -- a strange term to apply to the ghost in this blog's machine. Seems to be a hard-coded limitation of the blog software, unfortunately.
