Blame it on the Bossa Nova?

Really, is there anybody who doesn't love the Brazilians? I know, I know, there are people so hip they *say* they've gotten bored with Brazilians. But I think they're lying.

Did you see the daily newspaper front page photo which showed Obama clinking glasses under the war announcement headline?


Perhaps it's because they have a much more with-the-times concept of race:

in Brazil, if a person gets rich, he gets whiter.
